How faceted search will help build the EU Online Public Space
October 22, 2013
Some of the comments to my initial post showed me that I have to show, not tell, what I mean when I refer to technologies like semantic analysis and faceted search.
So, a quick video about faceted search and the role it could play in helping people find opinions and ideas on EU policy via a rebooted BloggingPortal.
It’s almost 10 minutes long, because I look at three forms of faceted search. If you haven’t got 9:44 then skip to 5 minutes in, where I cover the 3rd example, which I suggest shamelessly copying being inspired by for the rebooted Bloggingportal site. If I have the time I’ll do a shorter version one of these days when the communications campaign gets properly underway.
